Stolen, Lost, Expired Cards
Stolen/Lost or Expired Cards
Q: What if cards are stolen or lost?
A: The Retailer can call Go Prepaid and provide the batch number or card number of the stolen card(s) and request that they be deactivated.
Go Prepaid will contact the network provider to disable card activation. Please note, Go Prepaid cannot refund the retailer for stolen or lost cards.
Q: What if card sold to a customer has expired?
A: Retailer should call Go Prepaid to discuss the situation. If the card is part of stock sold to the retailer over a year ago then a refund may not be made available. If, however, the expiry period seems to be a programming error then Go Prepaid will refund the product or work with the network operator to extend the expiry date. In such instances, please complete the following steps:
1. Provide customer with a replacement card of equal value.
2. Return expired cards to Go Prepaid with a note indicating why the cards are being returned.
3. Retailer will be provided with replacement cards upon receipt of expired cards.
